⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️—💈✂️ I’ve had two separate appointments at All About Men Barbershop in Frederick, MD, and both experiences were outstanding. The first appointment was back in July (‘25) with Joe, the owner, and the second was recently in early December (25) with Krystal. In both cases, I booked scheduled appointments, not as a walk-in, although they do take walk-ins. I do this with any barbershop I visit—I prefer to avoid unnecessary waiting, and All About Men makes the process incredibly easy. You can walk in, check in at the front desk, explain what service you’re there for, and boom—you’re set. They also offer online booking, which is a great option if you prefer to handle everything ahead of time. From the moment you walk into the shop, it’s a cool, welcoming experience. The waiting area is comfortable and relaxed—somewhere you can actually sit back and unwind before getting into the chair. They also offer a complimentary beer with a haircut if you’re of age. I don’t personally drink beer, so I didn’t partake, but I think it’s a great concept and adds to the laid-back, classic barbershop vibe. The staff is friendly, professional, and approachable, and they’re more than happy to answer questions or help you feel at ease. In July, I booked with Joe, and given that he has a beard himself, I had high expectations—and he absolutely delivered. He immediately understood the importance of proper beard work. He asked exactly what I wanted, listened, and then went to work with confidence and precision. His craftsmanship, attention to detail, and passion for beard care were evident throughout the entire appointment. Simply put—he nailed it. Joe is a true rockstar in his arena. For my December appointment, I booked with Krystal, and once again, the experience was top-tier. My request was simple: no changes to the length of my beard or mustache—just clean up the sideburns and line up the cheeks. What I got was hands-down phenomenal work. Krystal paid close attention to exactly what I wanted, and her skill, precision, and attention to detail really stood out. She even went above and beyond by finishing things off with a touch of their house beard balm, sending me out the door with a clean, sharp look and a great barbershop scent. All About Men Barbershop has officially become my go-to place whenever I’m home and need beard work done. The team does phenomenal work, they’re highly professional, and they genuinely enjoy what they do—and it shows. If you’re looking for quality craftsmanship, a welcoming atmosphere, and barbers who truly care about their clients, this place is absolutely worth your time.

I took my 4 year old son here for the first time. He’s been to other barber shops around Frederick, but he loved this place best by far! It’s a busy shop, but well taken care of, plenty of entertainment for children, and they moved quickly. We loved Krystal. She was sweet, professional, perfected his cut, and made my son super comfortable. My son is usually nervous about haircuts and has to have me sit with him, but he sat all by himself so well for her.
